Everything was simply lovely. We lovely spend 3 nights in Valletta. Its location approx 10-15 minutes' walk from Manoel Theatre was peaceful. We got a room with a roll top bath. The breakfast was good, had lots of food like coffee, croissants, butter, slices of fresh bread and cereal.

    historic atmosphere

amazing central spot for exploring valetta's historic treasures

The location of this place is perfect for wandering around and discovering historic sites like the beautiful church of saint augustine just a short walk away and you can easily visit the fine upper barrakka gardens that offer an very nice view over the waterfront. It was lovely to enjoy breakfast in the charming garden and feel like you're living in a piece of history, while the staff were attentive to all my needs .

Both a hit and a miss

The personal tour by the Marquis was a highlight, providing rich family anecdotes and history. The accommodating staff ensured a warm atmosphere.

While enjoying the spaciousness of the palace, some may find the experience lacking in hotel amenities due to its B&B classification.

The private palace tour was the highlight! 🌟 Staying in the Clock Room felt nostalgic with modern touches. Breakfast in the garden was delightful! A bit more comfy bed linens would have been nice though.

    beautifully preserved palace
    rough linens

Staying here feels like a journey through history, with the amazing garden enhancing the experience. The beautifully preserved palace offers a glimpse into the past.

The linens were a bit rough, detracting from an otherwise comfortable stay.

The King Room with Balcony had a beautiful view. The charm of the garden offered a lovely spot for breakfast, blending history and nature seamlessly.

The bed in the King Room was pretty high, which could be a challenge for anyone less mobile. The towels in the Suite with Garden View were rough, and the toiletries weren't replenished, a bit annoying. Water temperature control in the Queen Room, Disability Access could use better regulation-warm showers shouldn't be hard to achieve.

    unique architecture
    historic charm
    uncomfortable bed linens

The staff was super friendly, and the unique architecture. Being just a short walk from the ferries to the Three Cities was a bonus. The local shops and restaurants nearby added to the fun. Breakfast was served in a lovely setting that combined history and charm. I'd definitely recommend a stay here!

There were a couple of hiccups with the bed linens, which could have been more comfortable for a better night's sleep .

Water temperature control in the Queen Room could be improved for a more refreshing shower!!! The linens in the King Room needed to be softer for a more luxurious feel while enjoying the royal treatment!!!
